My Sr. Leadership students decided that they need some new Leadership swag, hoodies to be specific. The Grampster always reminds us to tell students “not my job, you figure it out”. So I did. They started to work on a design for the new hoodies. They called me over to show me their design. It was awesome.

You just never know when something sticks. You see, every semester each class spends 2-3 periods deciding what is most important for them to achieve in the semester and how they want to be assessed. We always end it with Drew Dudley’s Leading With Lollipops video.

Please watch if you haven’t already. Our Leadership program’s goal is to create as many lollipop moments for people at Centennial and in our community as we can.

I swear I gave my hoodie designing students no suggestions other than 1 print on the front with 2 colors. They came up with Lollipop Moments. They get it!!! They actualy get it!!! Pretty cool that their design gave me a lollipop moment.

A Great Speaker You Should Hire

Chris Gray came to speak to our school last week. He gave two keynotes with our school split in half. He also gave three leadership workshops to my classes. We put him to work and he was excellent. Chris is a professional speaker, professional wrestler, certified teacher, and pops to 4 kidlets. As a pop to 4 sons I feel like this makes me almost as cool as him. Chris will make your school and leadership program better!
